Terms of use
Last updated October 3, 2026
These terms cover your use of PocketStruct (pocketstruct.com). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What PocketStruct is
PocketStruct gives preliminary structural quantities, member sizes and embodied carbon estimates for schematic design. It is a feasibility tool. It is not an engineering service, and nothing it produces is sealed, stamped or reviewed by a licensed engineer.
- Results rest on simplified gravity design, a regular column grid and the assumptions listed with each result and in each report.
- The lateral system, connections, foundations beyond a rough size and many code checks are not designed.
- Embodied carbon covers A1–A3 (cradle to gate) only, with an accuracy of about ±20 %. It is not a compliance-grade life-cycle assessment.
- A licensed structural engineer of record must design and verify the structure before construction documents, permits or construction.
Your use
- Use the site lawfully and do not try to disrupt it, overload it, or get at data that is not yours.
- Do not use automated tools to send large numbers of requests.
- Keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for activity under your sign-in.
Your content
The building cards and projects you save remain yours. You let us store and process them so the site can run the engines and show your projects back to you. The reports and spreadsheets you download are yours to use; keep the preliminary-design notices on them when you share them.
The conversation
The conversation on the building card uses a language model to fill in the card. It can misread you; check the card before relying on a result. See the privacy notice for where those messages go.
No warranty
PocketStruct is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. The site may change, pause or stop at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, PocketStruct and its makers are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or its results, including design, construction or business decisions made on them.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
